In the early days of the international snow trade, anyone with a refrigerated truck would just shovel snow into the back and then peddle it out the back, hoping that it hadn’t melted or frozen into a solid block of ice.

Much of what had been snow was either ice or water upon delivery to the Eskimo clients. This was a huge problem that affected the whole industry. Initially we asked our suppliers to guarantee that at least 90% of the product ordered would be delivered as snow on delivery.

We refer to this guarantee as the SIP – SNOW INTEGRITY PROMISE.
